After growing up watching movies that created phobias about the creatures I now advocate for, I wanted to create something that growing minds could listen to that sparked curiosity and appreciation instead of fear and disgust.

So many ‘gross’ and ‘scary’ things possess fascinating stories that innovators are actually taking notes from— like roach inspired search-and-rescue robots or flexible surgical glue mimicked from slug slime.
